Liz's family relocated from Texas where Liz taught high school for 15 years. Liz shares her life with her husband Paul, a seasoned professional with  Southwest Airlines and an aviation writer. They are proud parents of two daughters—one at the University of Alabama and the other a high school sophomore—and two beloved rescue dogs, Bagwell and Oskar.
